The Groppovisdomo of Gropparello is located in the green and pristine Upper Chero Valley. Its name comes from being an ancient fiefdom of the Vicedomini family. It is situated on the hills of the left bank of the Chero River, where a castle called Rocca di Groppo dè Vicedomini once stood. Today, surrounded by a large orchard, part of Monpoupon stands on its foundations.
